Patient survey

 

We are pleased to be able to publish the details from our latest patient survey. We welcome the feedback and the opportunity to try and improve on the service and facilities we can provide, where possible, to the benefit of our patients.

The overall survey results were very positive and taking into account some of the key areas highlighted by patient responses, we will be addressing certain areas.

Waiting times were an important area for many patients, all clinicians have recognised this as a problem and will be trying hard to improve.  We are changing our branch surgery opening times from morning to lunch-time which we hope will improve waiting times at Cricklade.

48 hour appointments - we are going to look at increasing the amount of 48 hour appointments for patients who don't necessarily require an on the day appointment but would like to be seen within a few days.

Comfort of the waiting area was also highlighted - we have had this area re-painted recently and notice boards put up with patient information.  We will be looking at how we can improve this area further.

We will continue to ask for feedback and would like to thank those patients who took part in this survey. We would welcome ongoing feedback through the Friends and Family test, either online or using the feedback forms in surgery.
